Wine Descriptions

2023 Ascot Red:

A harmonious blend of Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Franc, this red opens with aromas of blueberry, plum, and cedar. The palate follows with blackberry and plum, framed by fine, well-integrated tannins. A deep-ruby, elegantly structured wine aged 12 months in French oak.

2023 Ascot White:

A vibrant, aromatic white featuring apricot, lychee, and orange blossom on the nose. Flavors of white peach and honeyed mango carry through with a lift of rich acidity. A 65% Viognier / 35% Petit Manseng blend aged in stainless steel and French oak for bright texture and complexity.

2023 Chardonnay:

Barrel-fermented and aged on lees, this Chardonnay showcases aromas of green apple, lemon curd, and brioche, with flavors of lime and apple butter supported by fresh acidity. A refined, pale-gold expression aged in 2500L foudre for depth and finesse.

2023 Merlot:

A deep, ruby-hued Merlot offering black cherry, chocolate, and plum on the nose. The palate delivers blackberry and vanilla with fine tannins, aged 12 months in French oak to achieve polished balance and structure.

2023 Petit Manseng:

Lush and expressive, this wine opens with grilled pineapple, mango, and honey. Rich flavors of pineapple and caramel follow, supported by a generous mouthfeel and lively acidity. A textured, medium-yellow Petit Manseng aged in stainless steel and French oak.

2023 Cabernet Franc:

An elegant, Monticello-grown Cab Franc with aromas of ripe plums, graphite, and violet. The palate features black cherry and cedarwood wrapped in soft tannins. Aged 12 months in French oak for balance, depth, and classic Cab Franc character.
