The release of our 2021 Rose is a sure sign that summer is right around the corner. This lightly pink wine has a delicate intensity of soft strawberry fruit flavors in its aroma. The palate is just as amazing as it offers absolutely everything you could want in a dry pink-hued rosé: freshness, a lovely weight in the mouthfeel, and soft, ripe berry flavors.

The color of the Rose is Rose Petal- which is a light-pink or even a blush pink of a ruby red grapefruit that evokes an aroma of strawberries mixed with hints of fresh mouthwatering watermelon rind.  

For this Rose we are primarily using a technique that the French call “Saignee” which means “To bleed”.  This rose color is achieved by removing the juice from Cabernet Franc and Merlot grapes after approximately 24 hours soaking with the skin to get a hint of color and bright fruit aromas. In addition, we also whole cluster press a portion of the fruit in order to build a fresh acid structure for the Rose.  Best served chilled and in its youth.
