The 2019 Estate Red was put together with an eye to making a blend of Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Merlot that is soft and approachable in its youth, but also will age with grace.  It presents with a bouquet of cherries and tobacco leaf that encompass a core of dark blackberry, and plum that finishes with a sweet mocha finish. The wine is perfectly balanced with soft and succulent fruit flavors, which is the result of a short time on the skins before being gently pressed off in November of 2019.  It was aged for 9 months in Neutral Oak barrels. This wine was put together in order to marry the elegance of Cabernet Franc, the beautiful fruit structure of Merlot and the edginess and lushness of Petit Verdot.
